TAASC attempts to keep our programs and activities family friendly and affordable. As an “all volunteer” organization, we also have many expenses including –adaptive equipment, training, insurance etc.
We encourage you to become a member of TAASC and take advantage of your member pricing.

Current membership fees for 2009 are $25 individual / $40 family /$250 group.
If you are not certain if your yearly dues have been paid-we will have a membership roster at the hill.

For those who have family memberships, we may be able to offer lessons, lift tickets and rental equipment for siblings and family members-who would also like to learn to ski/board. This will be based on availability of volunteers and instructors. (our priority is providing lessons for individuals with disabilities). Please indicate "sibling" when you pre-register.

Remember participants, it is first come first served. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to ski every day that you request, but we will do our best to try and get you out at least 2-3 times each month.

Remember this is an all volunteer group. Everyone volunteers their time and their energy to make this happen, so please be as understanding as possible!

1st Annual Bob Chase Frostbite Championship Sled Hockey Tournament.

Entry Deadline:
The deadline to receive the discount rate of $295 per team has been extended to January 16, 2009 ($350 if after 1/16/2009)

Eligible Participants:
Each team will be allowed up to 3 able bodied participants per team
The goal of the tournament is to have both a youth and adult division

Tournament Timeline
February 13, 2009 Friday
Friday Night: Any participant that is in town Friday night will be able to receive free tickets to the Fort Wayne Komet Hockey game, and see a sled hockey demonstration during one of the game intermissions

February 14, 2009 Saturday
11:00 am Welcome Brunch at the Fort Wayne Marriott
This is a free brunch for participating teams
We will welcome all participants and provide a tournament overview
Games will start at 3:30 pm (final schedule TBA)
Each team will play 2 games on Saturday, and finish by 10:00 pm
Other events will be scheduled to celebrate USA Hockey’s “Hockey Weekend Across America”
A hospitality room will be set up for participants during the tournament to get snacks and talk to other participants

February 15, 2009 Sunday
Teams will play in their 3rd game Sunday morning
Championship games will be played late morning to early afternoon.

Other Information:
Storage space will be provided to teams during the tournament.
Each participant will receive a tournament t-shirt and goodie bag
The tournament games will be finished in about a 24 hour time period

BARS 2009 Ski Bash
at Canaan Valley Ski Resort in West Virginia
February 18 - 20

Greetings all, it certainly feels like winter has arrived...and for many of you, you're probably looking at snow on the ground!

I wanted to let you know that the plans for SKI BASH 2009 are well under way.
We will descend on Canaan Valley Ski Resort in West Virginia
February 18 - 20.
I hope you all can make it there for as much as your schedule permits.
