The Ohio Handcycle Network had two ride locations to choose from .

The first ride was hosted by Jason Moore - a TAASC volunteer on the B.n.O. Railroad Bike Trail in Lexington Ohio.  The ride went from Lexington to Mansfield and back to complete 14 miles.  Jason and Angela were joined in by friends to enjoy a beautiful October day and view the turning trees.  Pictures and more to come.

Ride Review from Jason Moore:
We had a fun ride along the B&O trail in Richland county. Participation
was light we had one participant Angela Amiralian who it was her fist time
on a hand cycle. She brought along two friends and her dad. After
spending about an half an hour getting the TAASC Quickie shadow match II
setup for her we were off. We started at Lexington and headed north to Mansfield
where we watched the gees at North Lake Park before we turnaround and
headed back to Lexington for a total of ~14 miles. The weather was
especially nice for late October with a sunny sky and temperatures in the mid 70's.

The second ride was on the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Tow Path Trail - Cuyahoga County
Location - Canal Rd and Rockside following south along the Ohio Canal.  This trail is very popular and well groomed.  Scenic views of the Cuyahoga River, Ohio Canal, and a variety of sights that make Northern Ohio spectacular.

This was Leonard Hallbank's first ride and we followed his pace.  As always, we format our rides to support everyone's skill level.  Leonard was happy to try the new activity and plans to join us again for another ride.

Keep checking our schedule as we add more rides throughout 2007 and 2008!
