Best of Show 2008
Circles of Love
Congratulations to Holly Koester for winning the Best of Show for her quilt titled Circles of Love. This colorful masterpiece was created in honor of her sidekick Spokes, who is a black lab service dog. Holly and Spokes have been a dynamic dual for many years and this work of art was a wonderful salute to such a friends. Holly was also one of ten Veterans who were recently pick to have their pictures on an upcoming series of Cheerios Boxes that are designed to salute Disabled Veterans. The item will be at special locations later this month, and the Cleveland VA retail shop will host the limited edition cereal boxes. Holly was very happy to be a part of the this event and plans to participate in the 2009 Buckeye Veterans Creative Art Show.
She will receive plaque for her achievement in the next few days.
Both the plaques and the reception food was sponsored by the Buckeye chapter of the PVA.
